The purpose of the research was to development of the range of <em>bent core<\/em> liquid crystals by synthesis and characterization about new structures, which incorporates mesogenic systems with azo linking groups. The research direction started in 2013 at \u201cAlexandru Ioan Cuza\u201d University, aims the synthesis of peptides, extraction of protein from different biological materials, and their characterization by different methods of spectroscopy: NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, Mass spectrometry and fluorescence studies.
