Domeniile de cercetare ale Dr. Mangalagiu Violeta sunt designul si ob\u021binerea de noi compusi mic moleculari azaheterociclici, noi nanobiomateriale hibride organice\/anorganice pe baza de compusi cu schelet azaheterociclici si chinonice, functionalizate cu nanoparticule de metal, precum si investigarea\u00a0 proprieta\u021bilor acestor materiale. Metodele de sinteza ale azaheterociclilor si a nanobiomaterialelor sunt originale, incluzind si metode ecologice prietenoase, folosind tehnologii cu ultrasunete si microunde.
