Gerber Cristina obtained a bachelor’s degree in physics, specializing in Medical Physics, and a master’s degree in physics, specializing in Biophysics and Medical Physics, at the Faculty of Physics from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi. Research activity has focused on atmospheric pressure plasma applications in the biomedical field.
She obtained the title of doctor in physics within the Doctoral School of the Faculty of Physics of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi. The direction of research addressed within the doctorate studies focused on the applications of plasmas in hydrocarbons in the synthesis of materials, and the astrophysical relevance of the obtained materials.
Currently, the research activity focuses on plasma applications in laboratory astrophysics, in biomedical field and in agriculture.
